According to Dr Sharib:

"Ar-Ra'uf is the One Who showers blessings and more. He is most kind and
merciful."

To emulate the name we are advised to show mercy to others.

Appropriate recitation may free one from anger and emotional outbursts. Also it
may secure love and kindness from people towards oneself. It makes one kind
and courteous towards people.

For Allah is to all people
Most surely full of kindness,
Most Merciful.

And there is the type of man
Who gives his life
To earn the pleasure of Allah
And Allah is full of kindness
To (His) devotees.
