Hotel. If you ask for Abdullah, he is well
known locally and speaks very good

He will be able to take you to some of
the shrines not on the tourist list if you
wish, or give you directions if you do not
have the cost of a taxi.

disappointed. He will charge you a very fair and honest price and probably tell you something of the
history associated with the smaller shrines. This will include a visit to Mehram a beautiful hill, about
seven miles outside of Konya City, with which Mevlana is much associated. Of course he also
knows about various museum around and good places to get good quality local food, Turkish baths
etc. You will find him a most companionable guide to the various places. He can also tell you about
sites of interest outside of Konya itself and arrange visits. People that I have referred to him for
