Love, when you turned me, again, in poetry,
We became one in one, me in you in me;
You round me round you, dancing effortlessly,
Till the stars beneath laughed in glee.
The moon smiled so appreciatively,
The sun agreed, patient in its supremacy;
The spheres’ renowned musical sound,
To the heart’s ear, joy in sorrow had found.
