Dr Kelly Pemberton has recently completed her doctoral thesis on the role of women at sufi shrines in India. Jeff is an artist and teacher of distinction. Zahuri Manzil has been built to be used for fatiha for Khawaja Gharib Nawaz and saints of the Gudri Shah Order by followers of Dr Zahurul Hassan Sharib. It is also used for Zikr, reading of Holy Qur'an, and for meditation and listening to tapes and discs of Qawalli. |
